Old pharmacy, turned into a museum. A pharmacy at this place was first opened in 1728, it was the first private pharmacy in Kiev, and its owner was a German, Johan Geater. The pharmacy made and sold ointments, creams, pills and medicines made from natural ingredients.
In 1986, an old pharmacy turned into a pharmacy museum. Exhibits for this place were collected throughout Ukraine. Thus, the exposition is devoted not only to the history of this particular place, but also to the development of pharmaceutical business in the country as a whole. Now there are more than 2 thousand unique exhibits of the XVIII-XIX centuries.
